Each year, the GRO solicits nominations from graduate students for members of the Hopkins community who have “demonstrated outstanding service” on behalf of graduate students on the Homewood campus. This year, Marva Philip has been awarded the 2019-2020 Graduate Representative Organization (GRO) Rachel S. Core Award in recognition of  the incredibly positive impact she has had on the lives of current and  prior generations of students in the Department of Comparative Thought and Literature.
